2D benders
Standard product
Noliac has developed a new type of products allowing 2-dimensional (2D) movement of bending actuators. The new bending actuator technology makes the benders capable of moving up, down, right and left, or as a single or double s-morph. The design is scalable in terms of stiffness, displacement and dimensions.

Displacement principle:
The double bender (NAC27xx-series) offers movement in two directions (X and Y) with the same component. Note that compared to the NAC29xx-series, the NAC27xx-series does not move with a parallel level at the top.
 
The single s-morph (NAC28xx-series) offers single s-movement and is available as prototype. The main feature of this product is that it is much stiffer in the direction of action than in the perpendicular direction.
 
The double s-morph (NAC29xx-series) offers double s-movement and is available as prototype. Note that compared to the NAC27xx-series, the NAC29xx-series moves with a parallel level at the top.
