| Multilayer rings with higher reliability |
| Tests at extreme conditions have revealed that Noliac ring shaped actuators have higher reliability than any other piezoelectric actuators. The ring shape provides a more homogeneous distribution of electrical and mechanical stresses and so significantly improves life time even at extreme perating conditions. |
