| Using Noliac actuators, NextGen Aeronautics is developing an on-blade actuation system, utilizing smart materials, initially capable of articulating a helicopter main rotor blade trailing edge flap with enough force and displacement to provide main rotor vibration suppression. |

| Noliac held a piezo course in September 2006 at their premises in Kvistgaard, Denmark. The participants evaluated the course, the instructor, the facilities and the practical sessions; they all found the course of high value. |
