Triaxial accelerometer

PATENT PENDING: Noliac has designed and manufactured a piezoelectric sensor which has the potential for making triaxial accelerometers more cost-effective and lighter while maintaining good performance levels.

New generation of piezoelectric actuators

Noliac is at the forefront of the development of more resistant and cheaper piezoelectric actuators in Europe. The new generation of actuators will resist humidity, have fewer cracks in the ceramic material and last longer.

New Managing Director of Noliac Ceramics

As of October 1st 2008, Mr. Petr Bubla, M.Sc.Chem, is Managing Director of Noliac Ceramics. Previously, Mr. Bubla has worked as Plant Manager and member of the Executive Managing Team at Hartmann-Rico j.s.c. Further, he has held the position as General Manager of BIOSTER.

Successful kick-off meeting

The European Commission has funded 6 million Euros for the development of more resistant and cheaper piezoelectric actuators. Last week, 15 participants from seven countries in Europe met at the kick-off meeting in Kvistgaard, Denmark, where Noliac holds the project management.
