Expanding our capabilities to manufacture tubes with OD up to 150 mm
In 3-6 months we will be expanding our capabilities and will be able to manufacture large tubes with an outer diameter (OD) up to 150mm. The tubes are manufactured to the tightest tolerances, as we provide tubes with inner diameters as small as 3 mm and tolerances as tight as 0.05 mm (up to OD 70mm). All manufacturing processes are set up for maximum flexibility.
Right now we offer tubes with these dimensions:
Standard
Outer diameter (OD): 7-50 mm
Inner diameter (ID): 5-48 mm
Height (H): 0.5-40 mm*
Customization
Outer diameter (OD): 3-50 mm
Inner diameter (ID): 3-48 mm
Height (H): 0.5-40 mm*

Piezoceramic tubes are monolayer components. They contract laterally and longitudinally when a voltage is applied between their inner and outer electrodes. For ultrasonic applications, the tubes emit an ultrasonic pulse and receive an echo signal from the surface to be measured.
Tuning of big mirrors, scanning microscopy, level transmitters, flow converters and pump controllers are among the applications based on piezoceramic tubes. Noliac has the capability to tailor, produce, cut, and grind the tubes according to customer specifications and at a high quality level.

Right now we offer plates with these dimensions:

Length (L) : 3-100 mm

Height (H): 0.3-10 mm*

In 3-6 months, though, we will be expanding our capabilities and will be able to manufacture big piezoelectric plates up to 135mm x 135mm in height range 0.8mm (all materials) to 25mm (soft NCE51), depending on ceramics used. For medical ultrasound and underwater acoustic systems this new capability is very good news!
The big bulk plates are excellent for e.g. tuning of big mirrors and medical transducers for ultrasound applications. The plates can be made from all materials, but NCE55 provides exceptionally high permittivity, high coupling coefficients, low Qm factor and relatively high Curie temperature and is therefore the supreme piezo material for manufacturing of ultrasound transducers.
